Burnley House is a grand old farmhouse built prior to 1575. It stands on the green which is kept shorn by the sheep freely roaming amongst the picturesque cottages.
Burnley House overlooks the Hutton Beck as it winds through the peaceful garden. Brown trout can occasionaly be seen in the clear water making a nice meal for the local heron. In our garden can be found a large variety of wild birds from the common Blackbird and Sparrow to Green Woodpeckers, Phesants and Sparrow Hawks.
The house has a wonderful architecturally designed sweeping stair case which leads you to the two front double bedrooms which look over Hutton beck and the winding white fencing and beautiful cottages. Down stairs you are free to relax in our sitting room or the beautiful cottage style garden or sit on the terrace opposite the beck and listen to the babbling brook.
